A man of many professions — including a microfilm clerk, an environmental
and pharmaceutical chemist, a theatre actor, a freelance news camera operator
and a camera technician for NBC/Universal Studios, Peter A. Balaskas has finally
discovered his niche: speculative fiction writer and editor/founder of Ex Machina
Press, the proud parent of
Silent Voices: a creative mosaic of fiction. Peter
received his BS in Chemistry (minor in English) and his MA in English with a
double emphasis in Creative Writing and Literature from Loyola Marymount University
in Los Angeles. His fiction and poetry have been published in The Aroostook Review,

Ellison's "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" was published in Criterion. His
supernatural novellas, "The Chameleon's Addiction" and “The Grandmaster” have
been published by Bards and Sages Publishing — the latter making its appearance
in the Summer of 2007. After finishing his first book — titled
In Our House —

which he hopes to finish by Winter of 2007.
